Photo and Video Blog

Video Editing is the process of making changes to video that has been captured from a camcorder.  Most capture programs are also editors (NLE).
Premiere Elements is an NLE, as is Pinnacle Studio.  Windows Moviemaker has limited editing capabilities.  Editing allows you to insert titles, special effects (SFX), fadein, fadeout, swirlin,swirl out, etc.

Video capture is the process by which you record a video and then “capture” it from the camcorder and bring it into your hard drive.  Pinnacle Studio is one of the packages and it also is a non-linear-editor (NLE).  Windows Moviemaker is a free package but with somewhat limited capabilities.
