Green Screen Versatility
For those of you tired of your surroundings, the green screen technique can take you out of your element and put you anywhere you would like to be (If you have video of where you would like to be.) I have been using Adobe Ultra for quite a while. Ultra started out around 2003 as a product of a fledgling company in California, using what they called vectoring. Green screening requires a lot of computer cucles so these guys came up with a process to use the power of the graphics processor. In order to do this, they specified an nVidia GeForce graphics card or an ATI Radeon graphics card with a minimum of 32mb dedicated memory. The faster the processor and the more memory you had the smoother your video would be. Green screening is fun. Watch the video and all of the various virtual sets he appears in. Think what you could do with something like this. My grandkids think Papaw is a genius. In my setup, I have well over 100 virtual sets, so I have a lot of flexibility.
